2018 marks the 6th anniversary of the Forum.
Concept
In 2013 it became evident that there was an increase in cases related to cross-jurisdictional issues. As such, the English–American Litigation Forum was created to bring together the top 48 litigators from England and the United States. From it’s inception, the goal has been to create an annual roundtable meeting that examines the issues, deepen the knowledge of specific elements of major practice areas and ultimately strengthen relationships within the opposite jurisdiction.

"A unique opportunity to share insights and practice observations with leading litigators on opposite sides of the Atlantic."

History
The Forum alternates between England and the United States each year, and over the years, it has welcomed a unique mix of mid-large firms and boutique firms, each providing different perspectives throughout the discussions.
At the conclusion of each Forum, we solicit feedback from participants in order to provide direction to the Steering Committee for the content in next year’s program. In 2017 we had 3 extended sessions to allow for a more analytical approach to the topics and more time to explore common issues. We will be continuing this format for the 2018 Forum.

“The Forum is a unique conference that provides an intimate vehicle for the exchange of ideas in a particular field by leaders in that field.
The format allows for participation in a free wielding environment where the subject matter is determined by the issues that are pressing for leaders in the field.
The small size distinguished this conference from others.”
